Got bored so i took some pics of my xo-1 put the high speed splitter on so hopefully it will stop doing back flips at 92mph lol will have a test day tomorrow.

I had same issues but havnt no lifting since I cut out around that exhaust sticker .. think that is letting air through instead of trapping it in the buddy and making it lift..

Yeah speed runs today il have a go with just the high speed splitter, if I continue il cut the back out on it

Did some speed runs today and nothing went to plan had a big crash at the start that destroyed my lipo I didn't realized till I got home this is the aftermath
My lipo is currently sitting in a bucket of salty water bubbling away because it's quite hot lol

Forgot you were running the MMM setup in that. Yah, i stoped playing with that setup in one of my XO-1s after about a week. Did have problems with controling the car after about 70 to 80 mph, did not feel right IMO. Sucks about your lipo.

Yeah I Wana move up to an xl2 in time when I got the money to do so, baby on the way makes it hard, but which esc do you run?

Found a cheap MGM compro esc the bloke says will take up to 63volts, this may be a bit of an over kill?

Yeah but il run a max of 8 just trying to figure what 550 size motor would take 8s+?

WOW! You put it in the car and went home not knowing? You are lucky, you could have gone up in flames in the way home

Haha it was in the back of the ute so wouldn't have done much Damage woulda of been good to see tho lol I put it straight in salt water when I got home it bubbled for days :-/

Now that's a fat stack of lipos! I dig it Pandee. Looks like you could of used 2 ec5's in series on the XL. Just take it slow at first, get use to it, break in the lipos and bring her back in one piece.

It will be running 6s 10,000mah! Hopefully enough to push Her 110+!

looks like it , because it seems the neg -
from the connectors on left hand side are going into the pos+
of the connectors on the right hand side connectors

I used these type of connectors on my spartan boat , but due to not having a on off switch , everytime id plug them in =the spark would <not sure the word> create sme type of craters inside the cap and after so many plug in and unplugg it became hard to even connect anymore so went back to traxxas plugs
might be somthing to look for as the xl2 doesnt have a on off switch either

look on ebay if you dont got the parts theres one parted out prob can get all plastics pretty cheap

No was only a test run. Realized my esc didn't have brakes programmed in it hit a pile of gravel flew into a tree and flew bout 30 meters from the road.

Lipos are fine, damage looks alot worse that it is, all I need to replace is front splitter and mount new servo new body and new diff housing. And a castle link to get brakes..

Finally decided to rebuild this thing! Got a mamba monster, and a 2250 to drop in her, just need a servo and she should be all systems go! Will update with pics
