help with top speed

Hey. I have bought my new Traxxas Summit. driving 2x2s lipo on it. Want a little better top speed. Can I change gears. will not spend lots of money to replace the motor.

Anybody can help me.

The Titan 775 does not enjoy being geared up too much the Big tires make it Overwork. Dewalt motor about 30 bucks gives you a bit more speed fair bit more torque and can be geared up

Okay.is it a brush or brushless motor. where can I buy it online. shown it is brushless so I have to replace the esc.

the Dewalt part is:
14.4 volt P/N 396505-21

It is a brushed motor with replaceable brushes. Search the threads, there are several great step-step procedures. Read them to be sure it's within your capabilities. It's not a direct bolt in, but it's not too complicated either.
