Eh, I always use a Dynamite balancer with some lead tape. Sure, it costs money and most people say they can balance without one, but I preferred using one. The street radials on my Vorza got up to 150F today! The pavement in TX reads 130F at the moment.
Absolutely!
You can do this using just a stub axle and your RC...
If you pop the u-joint closest to the axle (better done with a "junk" axle rather than a good one... less chance of ruining an axle that way) You will have a free spinning tire holder... the heavy side will point down.
Then search YouTube for a "how to" for balancing.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.
i use a coat hanger.. bend it just right give it a spin and ad weight to the top when it stops spinning.
i did the spindle trick then used modeling clay to balance then weighed the clay and cut pieces of the lead tape to the weight of the clay
how big of weight will make the difference? what can i glue/tape on that will work for the right amount of weight
all tires are different .i balanced all my tires and all different weights. pu some lead tape auto parts sells it.it's for balancing car tires wont take too much per wheel
where can i find lead tape? automotive/hardware store?
any good auto parts stores should have it
