How did you get power for the lights. Did you just drill a little hole in the hull for the power cord.. I want to find a green, red, and white running lights.

There are many sites to chose lights from and here is just one....

    http://store.rclighthouse.com/rc-boat-light-sets

You can browse their site as they have a good assortment.

You can power them from your receiver or 9v supply.

I am not sure of the max current that a Traxxas receiver will deliever but it does provide 6 VDC and since servos draw about 250 to 500 ma, I would say the receiver will provide at least 1000 ma (1 amp).

With that being said, led's only draw between 20 and 40 ma per LED depending on color and size, and operate on 1.5 to 3 vdc, so the LED's need to be wired in series/parallel and or need to have current limiting resistors in series with each LED.

Example- Two 3 volt LED's in series at 25 ma ea = 6 volts at 25 ma (.025amps). Current stays the same in a series circuit.

Hope this helps ya, if you need more info just ask!!!!!
