    2.4GHz Model Lock Function (2238)

Could someone explain to me how the model lock feature works on the 2238 2.4GHz transmitter? I'm still kind of a noob when it comes to 2.4GHZ telemetry.

Model lock locks the model in so it cannot be accidentally deleted.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. Is it really necessary to lock your model? Just like you said its to prevent you from accidentally deleting your settings but I myself really dont mess with the buttons. The only time I messed with the buttons was to bind the transmitter to the receiver. I have a total of 5 nitro rc cars with the 2218x receiver bound to the 2238 transmitter.

By the way...awesome avatar. I have one similar but cant use it

I am not sure settings are locked in... or what settings are vs what are not.
I don't lock mine as I am usually adjusting this and that depending on who is running it.

The main purpose, to my understanding, is to keep you from letting your RC drop off the end of the 20 model memory.
