    Servo won't turn for brake

So I finally got a jato I bought used running, had to replace the engine, but when I push the acceleration finger, ( not sure what else to call it) back for the brake the servo doesn't move back, is it a bad servo?

No it's not. You need to take the servo horn off, and place it at a different angle.

I took the horn off, and when I pressed it
For gas it moved one way, but when I pushed it for brake it didn't turn that way

I hope you didn't pay much for the Jato. I just bought a Jato 3.3 and Revo 3.3 with traxxas 2.4ghz for 125.00. nitros are going really cheap now

Well I actually bought a jato 2.5, already replaced the engine to a 3.3 and a revo 3.3 and replaced some bearings and air filter, and a few other things, paid 400, I have the jato running besides the brake, an still have to do some more tunning in the revo, can't get it to shift, but no more used nitros for me I think

Try plugging the servo into the steering slot on the receiver and see if it turns both ways.
