battery junk?

Running the slash today and after cool down put second pack in 8.4 3300 speedpack nimh 3rd use in truck. Right at the hit truck seemed to be down on power ran it a little bit and checked all temps with gun like I always do. Battery was 145 degrees so I took it out and discontinued use. First pack was a traxxas same rating and never got over 110. Ambient in shade was 99.

i would still try it. i melted all the plastic off of mine and it still worked. but try not to let it get to hot like tht
