    ********* Version 2 - 60 AMP

    Hey guys,

About week ago I ordered the ********* Version 2 60 amp. I had been waiting for also 2 months now for the ********* just to back into stock and I can see why it didnt, they were waiting to put out the version 2. My Traxxas VXL3m seems to have went into over heating mode a little to fast and before the temp sensor could catch it I guess, because when I went to touch it I must have been 200 degress. Temp gun said 180 3 minutes later when I got inside.

So it was time to upgrade... here some pics. And I cant believe it made it here in just 8 days. Other order from "there" sometimes I have taken 3-4 weeks.

I wanted to still be "waterproof". So I decied to take it apart of liquid tape it. I dont know if I would turst it going fully under water but a heavy splash should be no issue. Also moded the chassis so it fix well.

Having done much testing but I can say this, it seems to have more punch then the traxxas ESC. Also I did not get the programs card, but really should have. I looks like its cut off was 3.0v per cell which is way to low for me. I kind knew ahead of time but didnt think it would go under 3v. When the LVC hits DONT KEEP running. It WILL go under 3v per cell. More review to come when I have some time to take it outside.

I have two of these... version 1's, anyway.
I like them... other than the LVC is a little low.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Well after having 3 -3s packs through this ESC it's save to say it pretty nice. I can confirm it has more punch then the traxxas 3m. My center drive shaft came apart twice today doing the same things I was doing when i had the 3m ESC in. Also on hard packed dirt or concrete I was able to puch it full throttle and back flip the truck. I wasn't even tryng 2 of the times it happened.

3s 1800mah pack lasted about 20 mins and voltage checker was telling me I was down to 3.6v per cell. So I mean I could have gotten another 5 mins of driving before I would be at 3.3v or so. I usually don't go below 3.4v. Stock traxxas motor was showing 130-145 degreese and the ESC was 110-130. It was also 90 outs today so it was reallll hot out.

Really looking forward to driving it in the rain/snow/wet conditions to see how my waterproofing holds up. For a 30 dollar ESC I can afford to lean a lession. A few pics for ya...
