So I'm converting a nitro to electric. It seems most conversation guys are going with 2200kv motors and gearing something 38/17. Why not 38/21 with a 1800 kv. I've been hearing that lower kv motors run cooler and get a bit more run time even when geared for the same speed as a higher kv motor. Have any of you found this to be true? I would just go with the bandwagon and get a 2200, but I love the 1800 in my 1/8 buggy that easily keeps up with 1900-2200's on the track and gets loads of runtime. I'm just not sure what the result would be in the Revo.
