In my converted revo I am running 50k 500k 30k. It works better than the 120k 500k 50k I was running.

I run the same weights as insanity. I have a big block revo picco .27 and big red .28. It handles the big block power well.

Ok well i never really got into the center diffs. I dont really know what the advantage is of using them. But this is like my 9th revo build And i was thinking about using one. Does it make the truck operate any different? I know people use them for racing but i dont race. So i didnt know if it would make the truck drive funny for bashing or what not. Any info on the center diffs would be great. Does it remove alot from the transmission?

Mine had it installed when I got it. I know it removes all of the reverse gears but your gonna need the rear brake kit.

I like the Cdiff as a basher makes it more stable in the turns. You will remove the entire reverse gears from the trans just like a FOC.

Shizcol, come on bro, you know the answers to 9 outta 10 questions that you ask. Is it me or are the very same questions being ask that were when he had his last Revo? You'll build it into a pretty decent big block truck, drive it up and down the street a few times, and get rid of it. I'm really not trying to come off like a prick i just don't get it???

Well there are some ?'s i dont know the answers to. Ive had Quite a few revos but not everone of them were built the same, some were just stock but ive never had a revo with the rear brake kit or a center diff. And ive never blown a diff in any of my revos, so i assumed i could get some answers. Sorry if i need some assistance. I thought thats what these forums were for? For those of u who have helped i thank u, and if there are any answers i can give out for any of your issues i try my best to be helpful. But just cause i been around revos a while it dont mean i know everything about them.

It's cool man. I guess it's just hard for me to comprehend buying a truck, fixing it up, then selling it so quick. I've been around Revo's since 2005 and I used to frequent another great forum back then with a guy that did the same thing. I know I'm weird too so i guess i should just leave it alone. lol!

Yeah my wife doesnt understand the rc thing. She see's me dump hundreds of dollars sometimes thousands into the hobby and when i go to sell it she expects for me to get every penny back lol. It doesnt work like that i tell her lol..

Anyways i may try the center diff but im just worried that its gonna be another diff tomworry about blowing up. Thats one concern. But i can always try it and if i dont like it il go back to the foc tranny.

The Cdiff will hold up fine and 500k or ofna diff lock lube, the stuff that comes in a tub, is a must it needs to be thick but not solid. If it is too thin it will unload the power unequally I want to say to the fronts as they will just skitter across the ground.

I sold the 21tm to buy a new era bb mount and the lrp28. I never even attempted to fire up the 21tm, but the guy i sold it to is one of my buddies and he said it screams. I guess im more of a bb guy. I wanted to try something less then a big block this time but i went through my lrp build thread and watched the vids of my old revo and just had to build another lrp revo. Lol.. I guess im tempermental haha

Right now i'm running foc, rrp gears, 50 up front, and 30 in the rear. Willys on command. I also have a transmission with the center diff w/500k it will willy but not as often. More control. I like the trandmission without the diff. I think its runs raw. with the diff it is regulated in my opinion.

I kinda like the sound of that.. My revo was uncontrollable with the insane power of the big block. I dont mind it wheeling less i just dont want it to do no wheelies at all. Cause wheelies are fun. But if its easier to control i kinda like the sound of that. What motor are u runnig?

Center sux IMO. Had one on my picco .28 with 500k diff lube and most of the power went to the front wheels.... Skittering along the ground etc. I've found that a slightly looser slipper is the way to control ur BB. Limits insane torque but if u apply the throttle correctly instill get more than enough punch. My LRP .32 wheelies on command at just a touch of the throttle, most of my bashing is blipping the throttle. Matt it though and the slipper will slip just enough that it will squat and fly, usually smashing a wheelie when it hits 2nd gear. So for speed runs its WOT until its just about to hit 2nd, then squeeze throttle on to WOT once in 2nd and has gained some more momentum. Im runnin 19/38 gearing but am about to step down to 18/38 gearing.

Maybe this info will help coming from a simarly truck in terms of set up/power to weight ratio vehicle.

Good luck mate. LRP has been the best thing I've bought for my truck!

Yeh i did some research last night on center diffs and im not that interested i mean they seem alright. Ut ive heard mixed reviews. My foc tranny works great and ive never had problems. My lrp 30 in my last revo was crazy too and the tranny held up fine except for a faulty tranny i had when i got it. I blew it 3 times and i swapped it out with another one i had and i never had a problem since. The slipper does have alot to do with power delivery i found as well so i agree with u there. My .30
Was insane i can only imagine the .32. I could pull second gear wheelies all day with 17/36 gearing.

Dont hesitate to post some vids of that .32 lol

I also agree with u with lrp. I cant say ive been any happier with any other motors in my rcs. I had 2 picco .28's and they scream. Not saying anything bad about them but i prefer my lrp. Thanks for the info man
