    tire glue

    on my merv which is pretty much stock except for suspension. every time i run it either out in my yard or on the street the tires keep coming off the wheels. gettin a lil tired of reglueing them everytime, any ideas?

    Did you clean it up and what glue are you using

    I have used krazy glue advanced and it holds up great

    yes ive cleaned them up, even took my dremel tool with a small sanding cone to buff it up a lil. i am using insta-cure+ (purple bottle) its what the local hobby shop recomended

    That should be good.It wouldn't be your front tires from ballooning with a center diff?

    This is what I used last:



    But with any glue it is all about preparation.
    Cleaning it really well then wiping it down with alcohol to eliminate any oil or grease.
    Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

    I had to try 2 or 3 different glues from the hobby shop before I found one that could handle the sheer 3s force. I ended up with quick bond type two, thick glue.

    i use AKA works good but seems like it doesnt last too long, come off after about 10runs on 2s lipo. at 10 a bottle thats too much think i'll try what Jimmie is using and see how it goes.

    anyone know if denatured alcohol is safe on the stock rims? like if i were to dip the front side in to soak for 30-45secs first? thanks

    Probably wont hurt. Believe it or not that krazy glue has held up with 3 cell on a 6000 kv motor over 60 no problems at all
