New Summit.... need some help please !!

Hey everyone, I just opened my new summit, put some juice in the stock batteries and began to break in the motor. I was curious of two things.... How did you break in your motor?
    &
the second question, the one im actually concerned about is the steering/servos. The steering seems to be very jerky....not smooth like my rustler or other cars. If I turn the wheel fast all the way left or right it smoothly turns all the way.... but if i only turn half way or slow it is very twitchy/ jerky.

IS THIS NORMAL? Its buggin me out and I wanna make sure this is the way its suppose to be.

Tanks for any and all input ! can wait to use it this weekend.

Motor break in is listed in the manual.

The servos might be fighting each other... is one warmer than the other?
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

ill have to check tonight...dont think it one was warmer than the other. The buzzing is when I first turn it on and after ive turned the wheels while stopped. once i give it some "gas" or when i lift it off the ground it stops....

My summit has done this since new (4 mos. now), the steering servos buzz a little when I first power it up. I usually attribute it to being in a slight bind when I first power up. I am like you in that once I roll and steer slightly it goes away. I've never thought much about it. I feel like they arent completely in sync when it's first turned on.

Doesn't sound too serious, but I'm sure someone with more knowledge will address it, if it is a problem

Normal ...the big soft sticky tires don't always co operate. If when you lift the front off the ground they make noise
    That is adjustment time.
