Soap and water

Will soap and water clean the head of a 3.3 thats all i have right now. got some mud in the center it needs to get clean.

That will work fine, just set it out in the sun to dry after you finish.
Do you not have any Windex or anything like that in the house?

i got windex, 409, and wd40

I've used 409 before it works pretty good.

I use simple green myself but 409 works good too.

I just take the head off and rinse it off with Simple Green. You can use simple Green on anything and it works great! (Just don't put it on the body shell, it will make strange color differnces in the reflection!)

I use windex, just to be on the safe side chemical wise. It has alcohol in it to help the fluid evaporate so it cleans grime pretty well.

That's what I use spray on simple green and use an old tooth brush.

Some carb cleaners are OK, others will hurt plastic...

Wd-40,,, Works, but leaves an oily residue that dirt likes to attach to... Simple Green is excellent but break it down with water, straight Simple Green will take off anodizing in time... Denatured alcohol works well but you should wear protective gloves and use it in a place that's WELL ventilated and NO SMOKING around that stuff.

Me, I use Simple Green 30% and 70% water in a spray bottle and some compressed air...


But watch out with cleaning.... Avoid your bearings and places where screws are used with loctite.... Most detergents will strip any bearing of their lubrication and will break down loctite easily...

what is the best way to get a stripped screw out???????

I'm guessing it's a hex screw? Try a larger hex key size, if that fails to work, if the screw is not counter sunk, then cut a slit through the head so you can use a flat head screwdriver to turn it out.
