    Lets see.

Started out with a 5803. Installed a MMP and Trinity revtech 10.5 motor. Was running 3cell but had some heat problems so went to 2cell now running an aluminum gear case and back to the 3cell on a 19 pinion 90 spur and running cool. Upgraded the shock towers with integy fiberglass ones front and rear. Traxxas aluminum knuckles front and rear and aluminum caster blocks. Big bore traxxas shocks. Using an old FM jr xs3 radio. Ya its old school but it works great and has a ton of adjustments. Running stock traxxas tires just because they work for me and there cheep. That's about it just a few thing left Id like to do.

I lucked out... the led lights are from some type of losi truck and were in a bargain clearence bin at a hobby shop. The cage was on display at a different hobbyshop but no bargain. I couldn't leave without it. It's made by VG racing.

What's my slash's set up? BONE STOCK!!! It's been stock for the entire 4 months I've had it with NO broken parts. I just havn't found a reason to replace anything on my slash so far. Well, maybe a brushless motor would be nice though...

i think 10-11 final drive ratio is good for speed. i got 10.15 now. oh and wolf slash... when you go brushless you will eventually break something. lol. first thing you will probably break is either a caster block, hub carrier, or control arm. good thing they are cheap though.

Ok, I just don't know if $150 is worth it for getting a V brushless setup... I mean $150 would buy a nice big block for my slayer...

the one in the picture is still a project in progress. but i also have another sand slash with bug body + protrac kit all round. also another 2 with most parts replaced with alloy. but i don't really want to use them. lol

almost forgot i changed my rustler to a low slash on roader with a STRC lgc kit. that can be used with some kyosho 1/8th bodies that i have.

I already had the GH Racing Aluminum bellcrank etc before I mounted those skids. Never tried them with the stock setup. I remember i had to shim the GHposts to get the linkage to turn smoothly on bearings but I either used the GH racing screws or the dynamite ones whichever fit I can't remember. I might have even used some other screws I had. It's been quite awhile since I've had to tear down that section.
