i owned the brushed emaxx for about 8 months and recently sold it great truck, and really big in size.
2 weeks ago i bought the 4x4 stampede and love it sure its smaller but its so fun to drive and is crazy durable and fun on even 2s lipo so overall if you dont mind a smaller truck get the stampede but if u want a huge truck get the emaxx

I think you can set up the E-Maxx so that it is a bigger version of the 4x4 Pede. What I have seen is that the Pede is relatively more durable and a little more usable due to its smaller size. You can throw 6S in the E-Maxx and make it fly which is very impressive, but a little error most of the time will result in broken parts.
I think the Pede will give more fun per dollar and less trouble.

I had a BL E-Maxx (MM combo).I liked it but it was heavy you need two batteries. The cost of parts is more $$.
I sold it to get a 4x4 pede.I have had the pede a month or so and love it.Jumps much better one battery and parts are much cheaper. The pede is much easier to wrench on all so.Yes the E-Maxx on 6s is unbelievable and hard to control = broken parts on 4s it is a beast.
For size the maxx is much bigger.I do not regret selling my maxx for a 4x4 pede.

I have never had a maxx but I am pretty proud of my Stampede 4x4. It is the beast!

I sold my bl maxx for the p4de the one issue i have with the pede is that it isn't as good in the dirt but it is a lot easier to work on.

Get a pede 4x4 change the motor and esc to a castle mmp 2400 and run 4s. You'll need a few other parts to run it, like metal axles, but it's a blast. Very simple truck to work on. I bent the screws and cracked the cup on the rear differential but it's like $10 in parts I dont already have and maybe 20 mins to install.

The pede 4x4 is one tough truck. It can certainly hang with the bigdogs...

I have a stampede 4x4 with a set of trenchers,a Novak GTB esc and a 6.5r motor. I run with a savage flux and a tmaxx and a bunch of sc trucks. I have no problem keeping up with any of them. ( and I can out corner the 8 scale trucks.

In my opinion i like the stampede alot better. I sold my emaxx to get my stampede. The emaxx has a ton of power and was very fun. The stampede doesnt have as much power but is way more fun. Both trucks were very durable for me and nothing ever broke on my maxx for having it for 5months. The reason i sold the emaxx was because, i could tell after a while i would have to start spending alot of money on it. The diffs needed to be shimmed and it went through bearings very fast and everything would have to start being rebuilt.
And i never crashed into snowmaxx3905's emaxx.

Speedpede09 didn't believe me that the lipo's are water proof.
