    Roll cages for the ERBE?

Chassis is plastic, an aluminum roll cage sounds like a bad idea but I like the look plus it's easier to keep things cool plus no body clips

just wondering, are there durable plastic ones? i'm mainly a basher, if it shows you anything i've put rocks through the top of two bodies from landing on them, not sure if a roll cage would be good for me considering the motor is the furthest thing up!

Plastic wont hold up to an upside down landing. If you can get just a summit plastic exo cage, you can try it. Looks ok and would be cheap.

Rc solutions is the standard but isnt the best looking imop.
Integy makes one that looks good but durability is questionable.

There is also one on ebay by the name of vg racing that iv been itching to try but want to see a review first.

If you have to have a rollcage, IMO the summit body and exocage are a good solution.

It's tough as nails for its weight, and the only thing you need to do is change the body posts.

I like the RC solutions cage, its saved me lots of money in repairs, stiffens the car up alot and seems to save my bulkheads on big air jumps.....not just for upside down landings!

I used one for a while, they are not bad. I found trying to work on the car a hassle with this cage. I have since taken it off and bought a HPP motor brace. No more stripped spur gears.

i also definitely needed a rollcage but their prices were unacceptable.

this is my version 3, still goin strong after many many crashes, "rollcage":

sorry for the bad pics, you can click to enlarge. its made of 4 steel steering rods, 2 short suspension steel rods and 2 turnbuckles from my old traxxas sway bar
