    will 2.8 trenchers fit

I am sure this has been asked before but I am having a hard time finding an answer. Will 2.8 proline trenchers fit a 4x4 slash. They are mounted on all star 2wd stampede rims. Any info on this would be great.

If they are the fronts from the 2wd they will be fine, rears have a different offset

Well Two of them have the offset. Do you need all 4 to have the same offset?? what would happen if you did not have the offset on the rear?? Sorry I am not as familiar with the slash 4x4 as I am with a ruster or stampede.

THey would rub really bad on the body. Possibily even rip it up.

Different offset would just mean you have a different track (width) at the front to the rear

    Correct

Rustler, Stampede etc also use different width axle hexes to change the track

Just to make sure. If I wanted to put 2.8 trenchers on a 4wd slash I would want The front rims for a 2wd stampede. Which is the same as all the 4 rims on a 4wd stampede or slash. Offset wise. So 4 front rims is all I would need?? Thanks
