There is a Traxxas Revo Spool available, not sure the part # but im sure its easy enough to find @ buytraxxas.com
(RAH)² (AH)³ + [ROMA (1+MA)] + (GA)² + (OOH)(LA)²
It for the revo but will work in the slayer
Traxxas Revo Spool
I wanted to put a really cool signature but I ran
Spool in a rc car IDK about that one. Mabey for a crawler but not something like this. The dirt will need to be soft, no more street running.
There's a reason why you don't hear much about them: they snap axles or themselves twist. More in the Revo due to the size of the tires but others have used them in the Slayer with the same results. Go with a thicker fluid...some have used Silly Putty...
The Super Derecho
i had bought my slayer used. The previous owner had put a spool in it. It was flippy on pavement, and i had to run the slipper real loose on dirt to keep from spinning out on turns. I soon realized that the spool was not original and i replaced with the stock diff and 100k fluid. Now it behaves much better, both on and off road.
i have a spool in my slayer pro and i just twisted my second cv shaft same side both times. lol. mpi makes a steel cv shaft for the slayer pro. getting around to order some this week. mainly because i plan on converting to electic. but i have extra cv shafts made up just need to swap axle stub end and your ready to go again.
most all revo parts are same as slayer pro.. the diff spool for revo works. same diffs in slayer/revo. amainhobbies
mip makes one for the slayer.. not the slayer pro with wider stance.. i have a youtube video for what parts u need to get MIP for slayer pro. check it out if u like on my youtube channel Ckeithnitro![]()
I don't see why you need stronger drivshafts, the stock ones should hold up just fine. But if you feel like it, you can get the MIp drive shafts IF you have the normal Slayer.
