Alright, so this past weekend, I had the chance to finally let the EMBE run free and as luck would have it, I blew one tire straight off the rim, and tore 2 other tires at the rim (the tire is still glued). I did have to re-glue them when I got it since they weren't on there all that well. I replaced the one that let loose and re-glued the ones that started tarring.
So after some research, I'm looking to see some of your solutions to this kind of issue with the torque monster that the EMBE is. I've been trying to get the Tech 5/Big Joe combo, but my LHS hasn't been able to get them in 3 weeks. Since I haven't actually bought them yet, here's what I'm trying to find out.
--Are the big joes made of tougher rubber, if not, how about the trencher x's?
--Any luck with beadlocks? Are there ones available for 40 series?
--How have you conquered the 6s beast?
I've read about taping tires, but at the moment I'm not willing to rip the tires apart
As always, thanks for the help!
