Battery charging question

If you were to put a 2s lipo 5000mah battery on a charge rate of 5A, what would it mean it the charge rate on the charger was fluctuating. It could be a 0.6 one minute then 1.4 then 2.6 then back to 0.8. Its all over the place. I plugging the same battery into another charger with the same happening. Any thoughts? If a battery is drained what should the charge or capacity reading be when the charger shuts off assuming a 5000mah battery?

Battery issues can't be addressed here. Contacting the manufacturer would be best.

If you are balance charging it and it is near full, the amps will bounce around some while it charges to the full capacity. Mine will go down to 0.1A right before the charger beeps that the charge is complete.

Might want to go ahead and contact the battery and charger manufacturers for some assistance then.

What mah (in relating to the battery mah) does your charger read when it stops?

My charger stops the charging process every now and then to see what the voltage of the battery is. That is a quite normal process.

My replacement gens ace came in today. 5000mah 40c 3s, all three cells were 3.84. Took 2799mah to reach capacity

That's interesting, my 5000mah takes 27XXmah to reach capacity, my new Gens Ace 5000mah, 50c, 2s, took 5000mah. Why the difference I wonder?

Like mentioned in a posts in this thread this does not sound like a Traxxas question or issue. Like suggested you should contact the manufacturer or vendor you purchased the equipment from.
