    New Owner

Hello All, I am now a Slash 4X4 Unlimited Owner (a second hand One). Very happy, the back end really does kick out some on this beast.

However, I seam to have a clonking noise coming from the driveline.
It seams to be from the prop shaft somewhere, is this “normal” or am I not seeing something.

Also the transmission seams noise, Have played with the gear mesh but that have only seamed to make a small difference, Any suggestion?

Supprised how easy this is to work on compared to Summit/E-maxx

the diff's may need to be greased. As for the center shaft sound this is normal.

Will do a strip down over the next week and grease her up,

Is there nothing that could be done about the shaft.

You can install a small oring at each end so when the shaft moves back and forth it absorbs some of the movement.

I am the same way. I like to keep mine clean so if my 17 month old daughter touches it, I don't have to clean her afterward. It's not a bad thing. Also makes it so its not hard to find the parts when you take the truck apart.
