1 amp for every 1000 mAh
    7600 mAh = 7.6 amps
Would you go flip my truck back over??

I'm gonna hijack your thread a bit :

Got a set of 7600mAh 2S LiPo batteries and since my chargers ( I have 2 of them ) only push 5 amps it takes about 95 minutes to charge the batteries. That's all good, I have absolutely no problem with this and since I have 4 sets of LiPo's I have more than enough run time.

There's a little question that bugs me though...

Since my 6000mAh's and 7600mAh's charge at less than 1C ( wich is good for the cells ) it kinda scares me a bit at times.
The 7600's take in between 8200 - 8300mAh's per charge ... is this bad ?

The 6.0's peak at 6500mAh's and the 5.0's peak at 5600mAh's ... any possible problems in the long run ?

    Should stop the charge at 5.0 - 6.0 and 7.6 ???

Q&A what is your LVC set @..., idb I have read it is not uncommen to put in more mAh than what the battery is rated at.
as long as you don't run the battery below 3.2v ish. I set my lvc to 3.5....

My LVC is set at 3.4v ...

After I'm done charging them the LiPos are slightly warm to the touch, colder than body temperature that's for sure.
Charging at < 1C does a good job of keeping the LiPo cells happy

Are those all Traxxas cells Imprez?

That is impressive that you can pump more than the listed mah back in with a 3.4v cutoff.

Hi , not had much to do with car li pos, but I do fly rc helis on li pos, what ishappaning is common amongst lots of li pos you will quiet often buy a 5000 mha pack and notice your putting back 5000 + mha, it all depends on the quality of the packs etc, I always run a fuel table on the pl8 , that will tell you exact mha of a pack aswell as its best charge rate, So keep to your 1 c or less charge rate and don't worry ,

    Thanks. Jeff

Nope, I have ******* ********s ... They have maybe 25 cycles each and they still deliver great performance and run times.

    Thanks spiderspid

It's very likely that your charger's current is inaccurate. The first thing I'd do is to verify current at max setting.
