turning 3906 to brushless

i just got my wife a 3906 emaxx to bash around on....what do i need to make it brushless besides a motor/esc combo. i plan on running a Castle MMM and tekin 1900

That's pretty much it. I recently installed a Mamba Monster system into my son's 3906. The only thing I had to do was flip the transmission around so the motor wires would reach the ESC. The only downside was not being able to use the shifter. Besides that, the brushless power is a lot for the old truck and the first that that usually melts are the drive shafts.

i had a new brushless emaxx that she was driving, but i sold it...i picked this one up on a trade cheap, so im going to keep it....are the stock novak 14.4 and titans 550s worth anything?

If they're still in good condition I'm sure you could sell them. When I built my 3908 I sold all of my old 3906 parts online.

You'll need a tranny mod and stronger center shafts and axle shafts. Diffs can be upgraded to the newer Maxx diff as a bolt-on.
