    rpm true track conversion?

I changed my front a arms and controll arm and was seeing these true tracks. Anyone use or recommend them over using stock with toe links.

    They are HIGHLY recommended.

One thing to consider though. What wheels are you running? RPM advises that SOME 3.2 wheels will rub or won't fit over the larger carrier.

I have the true track system on my truck and I really like it. I would suggest getting them and I'm sure you will be happy with them.

    They look like 3.2... Maybe.

I tell ya what. When I get home I'll measure the inside diameter of my 3.2's that fit and post up the #'s. at least then you'll have a base line or starting point.

Thanks that would be cool. Even if I have to get new rims and tires that would be cool too.

I still use the RPM A-arms and my Lunsford Ti turnbuckles. I like being able to adjust my toe on the rears.

i have had my RPM true track conversion for over 2 weeks now and i love it its perfectly lined up and very durable as all RPM parts but keep the bearings clean their not as good as the stock bearings at keeping out mud and dust but they serve their pupose i love then and i would highly recommend them best $35 i ever spent on my maxx

Has anyone seen the true track parts that are dyable? Or is there a way to strip the blue or black set to be able to dye them?

I believe that RPM stuff is solid colored not just coated. At least that's true for their black parts. If they have it in white that would be cool.

I also wanted to change the front center dog bone. I found an older thread where someone used a 80mm dogbone. But don't kbow what ti do with the break disk when I take off the stock output yoke and put the cup on...

Yes they're for the rear only. If you put them on the front you can't steer.

I put true track on my maxx ages ago, pleased that i dont have to adjust toe in but despite being set to 1.5* toe in? there is a lot of play allowing the wheels to move backward ans forwards, even with my stock traxxas bulkheads and traxxas steel pins. I would like the adjustablility back personally, they have been through some tough crashes though.

Where is there "play" in the system? What does it affect when your running your truck?

No, toe links are not needed with the true track suspension. Like Nitronaught posted earlier, the suspension doesn't let you adjust the camber though.

I did the conversion just because i broke a toe link. I know theres alot of people who dont have it and that's because they set there toe for racing. I don't race so I didn't need toe adjust the toe. It also looks better and more durable.. imo.
