the end to a good day with the RCs!

When everything is said and done and all batteries are drained, and there's no broken parts!

Had some family come into town that I haven't seen in I don't know how long. After the partying Saturday night and some good breakfast Sunday morning, I decided to top off all the lipos in storage mode and tare up the front yard with the Slash 4x4 and the MERV! Ran 3s on the MERV for the first time (the MERV has the Summit body on it for bashing, if you were wondering where its at in the photo, lol) and holy crap is it stupid! We set up a makeshift ramp and jumped over a my cousin's Honda with the Slash a few times, lol. Then I busted out my quadcopter to show off my newb flying "skills"

I have to say out of all the hobbies I've had in the past and all the money I've put into things I really don't need, RCs have been by far the most rewarding! I'm just glad there's companies out there like Traxxas that put out good products that allow us to beat on these RCs and really have some fun with them without breaking somehing every time!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have like 15 lipos to go put back into storage mode... one at a time with one charger

    fix, run, break, repeat

Sounds like you had fun!! That quad-copter looks pretty sweet. By the way, what is a MERV?? I've been hearing that around the forums lately, and have no idea what it is..

    Actually MERV stands for
    Mini
    E
    Revo
    VXL

A brushed version is not a MERV, its a Mini Revo.

Great story superbleeder... and your so right. There is just something great about ending a long day of bashing with no broken parts. Its like you won a prize or something...

Fun time with the family!!! I'm jealous. I see some free time coming up on my end.

well none of them have many stock parts left on them any more between RPM, MIP, Traxxas steel CVDs, and some aluminum in the right places, the Slash 4x4 and the MERV are ALMOST bullet proof now
