Upgraded to 3.3, truck won't move

YAY! Finally upgraded to the 3.3 from the 2.5R. Happy Mother's Day from the hubby and kiddos. Haven't even got to break it in yet because of issues. Now engine will start no problem, but it will not go anywhere when I pull the throttle. If I push roll it backwards, the gears will spin, when I push forward nothing happens. Any help or tips would be appreciated. I want to play with my new toy

Not trying to be a jerk but I'm going to start with asking if the fly wheel is tight did you remember to put the cone behind the fly wheel and did you put the clutch on.

When you push it backwards and the gears move but not when you push it forward is normal Their is a one way bearing in the transmission to allow the truck to coast when you let off the throttle.

When you give it throttle does the clutch bell and spur gear turn?

Is the flywheel rotating the proper way? Counterclockwise if looking at it from front of truck?

Make sure your spur gear and clutch bell gear are meshed correctly. Take a piece of paper and spin the spur gear on trans with
Your finger while feeding paper between it and clutch bell. Should see good teeth marks from gears and no tears in paper.
Tighten the nut on the spur while holding it in place with a 2mm hex in between the trans and slipper fins untill you can barely
Turn the spur by hand while hex is still in position. Pick up rear of vehicle and roll forward then do same for rear. If either front or rear does not roll freely or makes clicking sound then you have a broken differential gear. If neither front or rear rolls freely
You may also have broken or stripped a gear inside the trans and it may be binding on the pieces. When everything is normal
The rig should roll freely when pushed.

Yeah minr was doing the same before. I ended up riping the reverse gear up in the trans and it was binding on the bits of teeth in the trans.

Hubby, the electric only guy, put some stuff on backwards I think. When broke, the e clip came off and all the gears n stuff came off and lotso broken pieces. Easy fix

Some times when you put the e-clip on it doesn't go on all the way. It will clip on but you may have to move it back and forth a little to make sure it's all the way on.
