    Spring reccomendations with stock shocks.

Ok guys what springs would you reccomend using to help reduce the sag. The Mamba 2200 and 4s-6s batteries weigh the rear down considerably. I am using the stock shocks with 60 wt oil. Thinking of upping the oil wt to maybe 80wt. But I also need to get some stiffer springs. What rate or other brand springs do you reccomend?

I had pretty good luck with the red E-Max springs. You might want to give them a try. Do you have the aluminum caps on your stock shocks? If not I highly recommend that. 80 wt is what I run in my Proline shocks anyways.

I have aluminum caps on them. My buddy suggested Emaxx springs since he has an extra set but they did not look like they would fit. I'll have to try them out. I'm looking to stick with the stock shock setup as they have proven themselves and to keep costs down since I still have to get some parts for the kids slah 4x4 conversion.

If you cn find them the silver Raven Tmaxx spring's are great for heavyweight 4x4's like your setup. I have an extra set if you want to try them out.

I think the losi shock springs are a direct fit for the stock shocks.

I have those exact springs still in thier bags for about a year lol. I just never used them. felt they were a bit soft. Just purchased the other day a pair of +20 trx spring and they still didn't raise the rear.

i have losi springs on my big bores and they are great it really changed my outlook on shocks. it is more the spring than the shock, a good spring can make an ok shock better but a ok spring can make a good shock worse.
