Need a little help with Revo 3.3...

I picked it up just the other day, and quite a few things seem off with it. I'm going to try to get refunded for it because the seller told me it was good along with the tmaxx (but thats going to be posted in the maxx section). Well, a few things are missing/dont seem right. glow plug wire for easy start is non existant, wheels are toed out like crazy (in pictures they were not), looks like the receiver cover in M.I.A., just overall it seems pretty rough. Now I haven't tried to start it, but I'm going to assume I need a glow plug ignitor? Any other suggestions for this bad boy? I haven't had a nitro in forever, and now I have 4 of them. I just want to know what I can do now to maybe fix what the previous idiots didn't. Let me know guys, thanks!

Post some picture and we can help you out better. As for the glow plug wire no big deal you can get the whole wire harness for about 5.00
    revo wire harness

As for the box cover you can get the whole box and cover for about 7.50
    traxxas reviver box
Sound like what you need is not that expensive. Check the engine out and maybe you got a good truck after all.
I wanted to put a really cool signature but I ran

I dont think traxxas really cares about toe and camber when putting the truck together... while it initially charges i usaully make all those adjustments and keep adjusting during break in. that is strange about the glow plus wire but if it didnt come with one, I am sure traxxas will send one.

Oh this isn't a new rig. lol Guy who sold it to me looks like he throw different links on it or something because each wheel is out of alignment by a TON. lol

Yea I fixed the suspension issues. Now I can't get the thing to start. I don't have any glow plugs that work except in my 2.5 rigs. Other than that, it turns over just fine. I think it just needs a glow plug ignitor. I just don't want to spend the money on it. I just want to re sell it and go back to electric other than the 2.5's I got. lol

Ok, well I'm thinking of getting rid of all of the nitro stuff on this bad boy and attempting a brushless or dewalt drill motor conversion. What do you guys think? Could I make enough off of the nitro parts and stuff to make it worth it? My brother wants my tmaxx 3.3 to do the same thing with so then we could roll together in tough rigs! lol

The glow plugs are the same as the one in your 2.5. I usually run a 3232x in all my engines.

I didn't get it off of ebay. To be honest, I got it and my T-maxx 3.3 for $375 shipped and just trying to get a quick turn around. They each need a glow plug, one needs a battery for the easy start, one needs a glow plug ignitor, and each need rx/tx, tmaxx needs a $7 steering part I am drawing a blank on... lol Other than that they are all there. Did I do good on that deal or did I get the short end of the stick?

My guess is the "non-existant" glow wire ment that he used a glow igniter, not the easy start. For that each his own.

That's a pretty good deal because even if you have to buy new engines and a plug igniter and other misc. parts you will still have two rigs for the price of one new one. I bought both my revo and tmaxx used for a total of 300 bucks. I've totally transformed the tmaxx 4910 to a extended chassis 4907 with a new dynamite .19T engine and put a brand new 2.5R on my revo with new shocks and fuel tanks on both rigs bulkheads on tmaxx and have a total of around $800 invested in both rigs. And I have tons of extra parts and a 4910 chassis 2.5 trans and chassis braces to turn into a project tmaxx for the future tasks.

Would someone know the possible value of each truck? I just need to know what I need to price them at. I have pictures if someone would like to take a look at them.

Post a few good pics of each and I will give you an honest opinion of values. List what's broken or missing on each if possible.

Revo 3.3 ARTR minus rx/tx, needs glow plug, glow plug ignitor, has pull start, buggy tires, some rims idk what they are?, roll cage

T-maxx 3.3 ARTR needs rx/tx, glow plug, bellcrank for steering, battery for ez start wand, has geode tires, starter wand, mostly stock as far as I can tell.

I also would want to know what is this bad boy worth... Revo 2.5R fully RTR starter wand, runs amazing, less than a half gallon through it...

Also this one too if you don't mind... Jato 2.5 fully RTR starter wand, runs perfect, less than a half a gallon through it. (I got this with the 2.5 revo as a package deal too. Both are almost new condition.)

Ok my opinion is that all the rigs look to be in pretty good condition. I would value the revo with no rx/tx around $200. All the others should value around $275-$300 each maybe $250 on the tmaxx with need of bellcranks. The jato I'm not familiar with but may pull $300-$375. My opinions are based on what I've seen these rigs selling for used. You could ask for a tad more or sell them all as a lot for a base price. Other than that IDE keep em all and fix em cause you have a nice selection and variety of fun rigs to play with.

Well, I thought about keeping the Revo 2.5 and selling off the rest. If I could get $450 shipped out of both the Revo 3.3 and T-maxx 3.3 that would be awesome. lol I would be happy with $200 shipped on the RTR Jato probably in all reality. I originally bought them all for a quick turn around since I got a good deal on them. Now, I have grown attached to the Revo 2.5. lol Anyways, thanks for some suggestions on prices for them.

You shouldn't have any problem getting $450 for the revo and tmaxx 33. **** if I had the cash I would by em from you along with the jato. But I've promised myself I've got all the traxxas rigs I need. I'm looking to start racing my revo and still have a few mods to do before it's ready. And I really have my eyes and heart set on a buggy and truggy kit I don't need to mention on here cause its not traxxas brand. But I love my revo and couldn't ask for it to a better rig than I've made it without putting a picco engine on it. This 2.5R keeps up with the 3.3s and my dynamite .19T in my tmaxx all day. And it's a more dependable rig. I do t have to wrench on it half as much as the tmaxx.

I think I am going to list them on ebay here tonight and see what happens. I really need to sell them. lol I snagged them for a quick profit and I've been sitting on them for like 2 weeks now. The Jato is just a straight up speed demon though. The Revo 2.5R I'm in freakin' love with. lol

If you keep the 2.5revo put those wheels and tires off the 3.3 revo on it and the motor saver air filter. Love those Hpi wheels and knobby tires. They will grip and handle to s better than the TRX tallons on the 2.5 now.

Well, I am probably going to flebay with all of them. I just need some quick sells and maybe make a little money on them. I may have to deal with it and just part with the 2.5 Revo. lol
