i am torn on what to buy.. i need some 2.2x2 crome rims, i need some monster truck tires, speed hawgs, summit rocker arms (for that monster truck look), i need a new body so bad its crazy, need a 3s lipo, a new wheelie bar, HR pushrods, and a few other small things..
but i also want to get that system 50togo has for about $130.
so i am torn i dont know what to get... any advise??

Well, if I were you, I would get these:

The Brushlesshobbies 80A Brushless ESC Sensorless Sensored with USB Flash/Programmer
I'm dying to get that ESC myself, but the guy doesnt ship international.

The ARC 28-48-1 as motor.

The JConcept Illusion Hi-Flow body

If you ever plan to get a T-Bone, i would look for the T-Bar as a wheeliebar.

Be careful with HR Linkage, i tested VXS160R02 and they broke after the first run.
If you are talking the VXS160RA01, these might be better. But according to my experience with HR parts, they might be crap as well...

For a 3S battery, i think there a too many options to choose. If you are US-based maybe some SPC, Traxxas or the expensive Boost, or check the US warehouse from the shop that must not be named for some inexpensive ***** or *******'s.

Tires? I'm lost in that area myself..

Got replacements for my rather worn HR front knuckles. This time i went GPM silver.



I have the same GPM silver in the back already, but these second package seems to have better build quality.
The threads are cut well and it was easy to srew the caps in. My first set has bad threads in them.



Mounted. I throwed some fresh bearings and hexes in. Heading out for test drive now.

I have a cool tip! Had to replace my diffs today and shimmed them a little on the tight side then ran a dewalt cordless drill into a cvd, spun the diff for about 5 minutes and it spun easier by the time I was done

By turnbuckles you speak of the the link connecting the rocker arm with the lower a-arm?
That are GPM Steel Rods with plastic ends part no. GPM SERV160. i think i got them from fortuna-racing-cars.de, not sure. thetoyz carries them in the US afaik. There is a lighter Titanium version too, part TERV160.

The lenght is ~65mm from eyelet center to center.

I have limiters in my shocks, maybe they look a bit shorter then in stock config.

hey jh thought you were checking out those 5" tires and hpi rims? with those you don't need the rockers and could run the traxxas push rods 7118x which are stronger

You need to give them a few laps with some good strong tape

My new brushless ESC came in the mail today but the post office wants me to go pick it up, I dashed over today and the mail truck was still carrying it around town. I'm super anxious about tomorrow morning! The case is super to waterproof so I will get plastidip as well.

there is a guy on here called gone bananas or go bananas or something like that and he makes the best from what i have heard. search bananas foam tires he's supposed to be the best from what i hear

I picked this stuff up from the toyz

GPM shocks (the complete sets) front & rear
GH knuckles (just one set to replace the RPMs)
And some bearings for the steering.

Maybe once I get this stuff in it will motivate me to actually work on my car!
