Well seeing how it's posted in the jato thread I'm sure most will say jato. What I would ask yourself is what are you going to be running it on the most? The slayer is going to be more able to perform better off the street, and jato is great for onroad high speed runs. I was never to happy with the off road ability of the jato in stock forum myself, not saying its unable too IMO. And I see you do have the same thing posted in the slayer section as well.
rusler vxl, rusler xl-5, jato 3.3, losi 5ive T
Since I have 2 Jato's and no Slayer Pro, I will say Jato. :-) if you want a SCT 4x4 go Slayer Pro, if you want a 2wd Stadium truck go Jato. The Jato out of the box is probably best suited for street as ChadKZ mentioned. I wouldn't mind having a Slayer Pro, but I have a Revo 3.3 which probably dwarfs the SP anyway and I already have too many cars/trucks already.

If its your.first truck I would say slayer pro. I love my Jato but its definatly not a truck for beginners. Its fast and crazy!
You should read the Traxxas skill level guide and honestly think about what your skill level really is. If you're a skill level 1 and you get a skill level 4 truck it may be to much for you.
