I've got a 2wd 1/10 Slash that I really liked. Recently its had some problems though. My 3500 motor has a bearing blown in the front, which I can't get out. I also have about 25% of the screws stripped either in the head or threads.
I also have a 4x4 1/16 Slashe that I really liked. It is the brushed edition, but has a dead motor. Other than that, it works really well. The guy who sold it to me (used), included enough parts to convert an e-revo to a slash as well.
My question is this: I live out where I have lots of pavement without cars & a small dirt track perfect for the 1/16 in the backyard. I want to keep an RC, but I'm not sure which one, or if I should sell both and get a 1/10 4x4 Slash. I like scale realism, but also like the MERV, especially if I got the Ford Raptor body.
My friend has a 1/16 MERV and a 1/10 2wd. Regardless, I'm gonna go brushless with whatever I do. I don't run lipos, only the stock (or same as stock) NiMh. I'd like to earn money from this, not have to pay extra.
