    Petertj60 Rustler Replica !

a while ago, my friend and actually everybody's friend mr. Peter posted the most stunning rustler's body i ever saw and since that time i was dreaming of making my rustler replica of his .

after waiting for some jaco's foam tires to arrive, i ordered the same body and painted it almost as he did .
it was my first time to paint a body since i started this hobby.

i'll talk about the jaco's foam tires performance a bit later, because the melted asphalt here appears with no cure

anyway, Thanks to mr. Peter for making this fine looking Rustler
    it's like inspiration !

Wonderful cars both of them. I really like the bandit kind of body, it looks dangerous. Update us with more info. I also use white jacos on my rustler, how ever not the low profile ones.

Hahaha. When I saw the title first, I had to read it 3 times over and checked if I was still asleep. That is so awesome.
I think I get too much credits here, but I feel deeply honored.

You did a better paint job because mine lacks the stripe on the roof. I hope you have even more fun with it than I did, my friend. I bolted a 2400 in mine yesterday and will try it on 4S today. I got a 4S brick that fits perfectly in it (ESC mount sits higher and the battery compartment is longer because I cut the wall out).

This will keep me smiling for a while.

this is nice!! i was thinking about buyin a bandit next but i've heard there's a small amount of aftermarket upgrades for them?? if so...being that i like the body of the bandit i may do this same procedure...so you guys just bought the bandit front shock tower and thats all you have to do right?

Well, if you plan on upgrading the bandit, you can chouse the rpm parts for the rustler instead, because the chassi is the same, also rear driveshafts from the slash 4x4. You need to change these pars anyway to get more durability. You save a little as well, since you dont have to pay 30 dollars for a new body.

You only have to remove the front body mount from the shock tower. The shock tower is exactly the same. The Bandit body goes over the notch on the chassis.

I think its nicer without a big wing. Since these are speedrunners, I dont think they will benefit from a wing.

Little recommendation: Don't make roof landings like I did yesterday...

Ahh thats bad, one good thing having a rustler body, is that it protects the internals.

I think I would have ended with a Cabrio if I had a Rustler body
