o sorry about that.. well i discharged it to like 7.39v then charged it on .5 amps untill it stopped. it stopped at like 8.1v or some where around there, so i dropped it down to .1 amp and charged it some more. i think i finaly stopped close to or around 8.25v or some thing like that, more than it did before but not as much as it used to

no it wasnt hot.. i kept it in my "rc workshop closet" and i would say it got no hotter than 75 degrees in there at any point.. if anything im like you i think it was just the cheap batteries.. o well it worked for longer than i wanted to stay outside yesterday, and if it dont work today, then o well i got my $10 out of it.. as long as it dont blow up in my car then we got a problem.

"i guess thats why i get to order parts every other day while you sit at home and watch tv"

ive tried.. she thinks its made for childern.. she call me a child all the time. so o well to each is own, if she's happy just watching tv, fine by me. satalite is not that expensive.. haha..

any way... so i was thinking about gettin another set of wheel wideners, but maybe not as wide as the others (25mm) maybe just a little wider, where could i get those.. just something just wide enough to help me on the rolls.. and that itll look good when i get the speed hogs.

They are setup for 2wd bearings. The 2160 is the chrome version of the 2140 I run.

Axle length will be close some run without the thick washer but street bashing isn't as hard as what I put it through. I cut down some barrel nuts that you have seems

o and i was wondering (and i may have asked this before) but for a monster truck build, would the pushrods from a 1/16 summit fit on my merv? if so it should lift it up quite a bit huh?

You would need 2160. Rpm looks nice but don't know about the thickness at the axle from my experience they are usually pretty thick and need to be cut down which isn't easy

and how does that work? like how do you mount it to the car and the tires to it?

I cut it down from one like you have from the Widener kit. I threaded a 4mm bolt with a nut to hold it in a vise, cuts very easy then took a 4mm tap and chased the threads down, then filed the taper off the tap to thread it down as far as it will go.sounds like a lot of work one takes minutes to finish

It would be easier to make it not as short and use washers to take up the difference
Then you just need the bolt and nut.if you look at the treads of your barrel nut its not threaded all the way down

so what do i do cut mine down? it would be kinda hard cause the way mine mounts is, you take out the axle pin and put the widner on where it was and put a new pin back in then just mount the tires on the other end

If you run the 2160 you don't need the Widener. In street driving you might not need the barrel nuts
