end point adjustment -hold down menu-press menu(2 green blinks)press set-press set -press menu 3 times (3 red blinks)now flip car over -turn steering knob on transmitter right until you see the servo saver kick in back off a little and press set-turn steering knob to the left do the same press set -hold down menu to exit..when servo saver kicks in the wheels hit the end point but the servo is still moving and the bar that attaches to the link from the horn keeps moving. just try it you will understand

hey just a curious question here: but what makes the rustler faster on speed runs than the revo?
is it the gearing?
-
i actually think i've asked that before..
-
Its s big block motor running a 3 cell 8000ma battery in a fairly light vehicle 70+ there are faster mervs than that around. If I had a nice long straight I could do that
-
****.. i have got to get that set up you got.. i got enough spare parts coming now.. i wont have to worry about ordering more parts for a while maybe next check i can order it.. or maybe i should try a 3s lipo first.. considering my luck haha.
-
Yep going to 3's is pretty cheap. Except for the potential damage from the extra speed and power!
-
yea i deff need to get 3s before i start putting the kinda power in it that you got. considering how my luck has been with the stock power.. haha.
do you know anything about painting a new body what kinda paint do i use? and does it usually come with stickers to put on the new body?
-
Hobby stores will have the right paint made for lexan or whichever body you use. But do you have an airbrush setup to make it look trick?
-
no i dont, i used to paint cars at a body shop, and i was thinking about buying a little set up and painting it just like i used to do cars, tape it paint it, retape it paint some more and so on.. but wasnt sure if you could do that or even if they had spay type paint.. it will be much more difficult since it is so much smaller. but i am sure i could do it if i can do it like a real car.

hey i got these road rage tires, i think are 2.2 so i got rims to fit them. but after putting them on they dont seem very tight.. the tires on the side have 1.50x3.45 are these 2.2 tires? it donesn say 2.2 anywhere on them
-
pix or it didnt happen.
1.50x3.45 stands for width x height (=outer diameter) of the tire. 2.2 is usually the tire inner diameter (=wheel outer diameter) on 1/10 scale.
And yes the measurements sounds like a 2.2 tire. - What's the part no of the tire?

Reason: added a question
-
im not sure all i know for sure is it is a proline road rage and has those mesuarments on them along with the number: 1102
-
Voila, we have Proline Road Rage 2.2" M2 (Medium) Street Tires for 2.2" Rear Buggy Wheels here. At least thats the part no.
These should fit 2.2 wheels, which one do you try to mount'em on again?
-
i dont have the bag they come in and i dont remember the part number, but i am 100% sure it is 2.2 dish wheels
-
You are quite thrifty with the information coming over.
Maybe its time to lift the curtain a tiny bit more: Do you know maybe the brand/manufacturer of that wheel, or have a pic handy? Doesnt need to be a big one..
-
in your pic the label is flipped over can't see it.do you still have your receipt? just trim your foams, clean the rims and tires with alcohol and tape the tires and your set
-
brand jcconcepts.. no have nothing on them.. dont have the receipt.. but i think i got it now.. trimmep the foams, taped, and cleaned it all..
thanks 50togo
-
-
the rims came with them, but i put two in the tires also
-
-
just shimmed my alum integy bulk heads, took three shims.. also replaced front diff after stripping it because of the integy bulkhead..
so message to anyone thinking of getting this bulkhead.... SHIM!!
-
-
What body were you planning on running and what color?
-
still debating.. i seen a real cool looking ford f-150 by jcconcepts.. but i also like the jcconcepts illuzion.. i like the truck bodies i guess
-
o and i was thinking of painting it black with a little crome trim, and a just a very few blue stickers.
-
Black- should of guessed that!
-
got weights on my tires, havent tried them on the car yet but seem alot more stable..
i got a question about the slipper... how would i know if i got it to tight
-
When your strip your diffs all the time, its too tight.
On the opposite, you know you have it way too loose when you burn your spur gear. That you will smell too..
Sorry have no better way to describe it.
-
i would back it off about 1/2 -3/4 of a turn to be safe
-
yea i got it backed off 1/2 turn.. just wasnt sure if it was to tight from the point i backed it off..
-
I wouldn't play with backing it off too much. Hard to keep track of where you are
-
yea its running good now i think i'll leave it where it is
-
-
does any one know the size of the batteries i need to get? i am trying to look for some 3s lipo from hobbwing, and i have 4
2s lipo two different sizes one is the **** tech and the other is not, the other is a tight fit but does fit. and i was wondering since i dont have them infront of me if some one could tell me the size i need to get...
or if you have the excact one i need to look for please tell me what it is and how it fits..
-
i think i found one tell me what ya'll think. product id #9210000009
-
that number didn't come up
-
try this one 77P-SL1800-3S1P-20C-3333
-
you can't really go by the dimensions as every manufacture seems to have their own idea how to measure them
