    Kingheadz motor mount install question.

Anybody out there recently installed one of these mounts? Noticed that inside packaging there was an additional smaller aluminum piece that fits into the top of the motor mount. Haven't had the time to install it yet so was hoping someone who has could explain what this smaller piece is? Only found one video on YouTube and wasn't very thorough in its description.

You are probably referring to the part at the top that the motor adjustment screw goes into. The gear cover also snaps to it.

You are correct! It is the piece that the motor plate screws into to keep the motor in place and keep the proper gear mesh. The plastic gear cover also screws into it. If you still need a pic, send me a pm and I will upload one for you tomorrow

In that small piece is a nylon insert that keeps the screw from backing out kind of like a nyloc nut.
