    what is the difference?

what is the difference between a stock motor and a mod motor. the titan 12t is a mod motor. do all mod motors do not have brushes?
All I need now is to set a new lap record.

The Titan 12t is a brushed mod motor. Mod and brushless are two totally different things. Whether a brushed motor is mod or stock has to do with the number of turns of the motor, and the timing. A stock motor has 27 turns and 24 degree timing. Anything with less turns and/or different/adjustable timing is a mod motor. Brushless is a completely different animal.

look in the end of the Titan 12t you will see 2 copper "arms" the brushes are attached to the end of the "arms" making contact with the rotor
