    And yet another rusty project...

So you guys remember me talking about a Jato roller that my buddy had for sale. I called him up today and asked him to bring it by. This guy has allot to learn about R/C. He got to my house with what you see in the following pics plus a Hyper .21, not for a Traxxas, witch he told me was a Ofna Picco .26 for a Maxx/ Revo. Needless to say I beat him up real bad on the price lol. He honestly thought it was a jato cause the junky that sold it to him told him it was a Jato. I had my hopes up for something with a 2 speed to play around with but oh well. Really and truly this rusty will be up and going much faster than I could finish a Jato project. I have everything I need except the engine. I have 4 rustlers and no good engines that will fit. lol

WOW. Looks like you have a mess on your hands. PM me about a engine. I can help with a 2.5 and resonator dual chamber exhaust. Engine from that car I bought from Champ?? Fired right up and filled with Marvel since. Just setting on the shelf looking for a home. Whats up with those tires? Are they glued? Diggerpedes are getting worn.
You should post that one in the gallery. LOL

Sorry for the hijack, but what gearing would you run with those wheels and a .15?

Its has a 72t spur on it but didnt come with an engine so i'm not sure what cb he was using. I only used a .15 in a n pede on stock gearing so I can't really answer that question.

Thanks for the replies. I have some similar wheels which I've never used yet. I'm running 20/72 right now, but as my little .15 is the runt of the litter I figured I might have to gear down a touch for those bigger deals.

Haha.... I will power up in the future for sure, but for now it's just me and my little .15.....

    I'll try an 18 cb.

    Cheers!

Well this thing cleaned up great with a few extras I had lying around. Its turning into a nice truck real fast. It got RPM arms, preload spacers and front bumper, Integy cambers, the right wheels and tires witch will be repainted, I replaced a bunch of hardware, bearings, battery holder, slipper clutch and breaks. I also put a 2070 in for the throttle and breaks. Take a look, let me know what you think.

Thanks Chevy, I wanted to mix it up a little lol. Money is tight and I need to put engines in my other trucks so I might sell this truck as is with out an engine. If anyone is interested PM me or ask any questions here. Its in real good shape for its age. Drop a 2.5 or 3.3 in it and your ready to go. It comes with both sets of wheels and front end parts to use bearings or hubs in your front wheels, your choice.

I would be interested in taking it off your hands. I have a nitro sport that I want to switch to a rustler but a roller would be a better way to go.

Thats what I would do. Its great to have a stock pile of parts when you do mods. If you don't buy the roller, in a few weeks or so I could put together everything you need to do the rustler mod for cheap cash. I just need to order a nicer top plate for the street truck for some more bling lol. I want a carbon fiber but I can't find it in stock anywhere. I'll message you in a few days to talk shop.
