Not sure if this breaks any rules or not; do you think this would be a good replacement servo.

at 6.0v its 0.14 seconds

& torque is 4.6kg/cm, but i don't know what that is in ounces. Anyone know?

The dimensions seem to work out.

Oh and the servo is under $8.

Yup, very "scary" first spotting them and seeing +10 in stock, to the very next morning and there being 5, getting the order in, messing up having to start over and then seeing only 1 in stock. So I hope there inventory count was right! lol We'll see tomorrow.

It does look like it re-stocks fairly quickly. Hopefully it does, maybe move on from the 390's stocking issues, and at a stupid cheap price to boot would make the merv servo issue moot.

No dude, It was very! painfull but sprung for the EMS, and that's with LiPos. so even more.

Under 4kg, was $74 'n change just for shipping. (was a few grams shy of the 4kg mark too lol, that was the first time order mess up, being over 4kg.

That servo works out to 64 oz of power pretty good. Hope it lasts! Yep got to watch that shipping sometimes add up shipping cost and would be better to buy local and different brand

Pricy shipping, yea that's for sure. My purchase was, wires, bullet connects, lipos & a cheapy tx/rx & hex tools. All stuff that's too much for me at the lhs.

That's sweet 64oz, and yea at 8 bucks I don't know what to expect.

Anyways like I said I'll post a bit of a review when/if it comes in, mostly macro shots of the gears & fit in the chassis.

What kind of lipos? I bought a multi hex tool 1.5mm ,2 and 2.5 was too tight though

Bought 5.3a/hr 7.4v 50c ******** hard case & a ********* 4a/hr 7.4v 30c hard case for a 1/10 scale, & 4 ********* 1800mah 20c 7.4v for the merv.

Oh snap, I hope the tools are okay!

That is a lot of weight! Take care of them, store them at 3.85 per cell and don't get them hot and they will last!

I have Lipo's now, a pair of 1500mah 3S & a pair of 2S from the lhs. I treat them well (cept for once, triggered the 3v cut off on esc) using them to around the storage voltage; I store them at 3.8v. The cell voltages seem to be holding up well, mind you the packs have only about 6 cycles. I mostly balance charge them too, being only 1.5 a/hr charging with balance isn't too bad.

Oh shoot, just noticed there is a HV version of the same servo availble for only a dollar more. I wish I got two of those instead.
