Just got a package with dirt hawgs, titus beadlocks, GH carriers and +25 extentions. I had a 26t in and it seemed fine but I have other gearing options. I have the stock pinions as well as a 26 and a 19, I also have 55t spur. What should I be running for best alll around bashing?

what batteries do you plan on running?do you have a heatsink or a fan on the esc? beadlocks are kind of heavy

Spc 2500s and Nimh when the lipo's are charging. Heatink on the motor an a vented body.

a fan on the esc will help.if you stay away from tall grass and check the temp once in a while the 26 should be fine .why were you running 26 not the stock 28?

The only explanation would be because I had it. So I should be running a larger pinion for the bigger, heavier rims?

you could drop a tooth or more but performance will be hurt.on my friends stocked he was running a 28 tooth stock and on road rage tires went to a 26 and it was fine.
