    my Emaxx build

I recently got a 3903 brand new after I sold all my other rc's.I wish I didn't sell my merv. I got my first upgrades today. Blue rpm skid plates and a blue shock tower.

    Skid plates

I plan on getting another shock tower in the next couple Weeks. My budget is low for rc right now.
Rpm arms to come after that with aluminum bulks and cvds .

I think you'll break the bulks before you break the arms.

Depends on how you drive and what you hit. I went through 3 sets of A-Arms and 2 axle carriers before I got the RPM ones. I've only broke one bulkhead.

Thanks guys. I love to hear feedback! I built a huge jump on my backyard today and landed on the rear right wheel and busted a toe link. I decided I'm going with the rpm true track kit. I wanted to get knuckles and arms anyways, and I don't have to worry about breaking more toe links .

Just ordered my true track kit (blue) from Amazon. Says it will arrive June 4 to June 7th. Besides that it has already been broken for a couple Weeks. Call of duty is getting boring guys.

Yes. $300 is very expensive. Hobbywing makes a great Combo that's waterproof for $150. I forgot the name but maybe someone will chime in.

Ya, i belive its a 150amp, great for 4s, ok for 5s, and iffy on 6s, but then 60mph only breaks things

Maxx and mini, is this thing mildly waterproof? i have a 3905 that is brushed but i want to be able to drive both trucks at the same time. and how hard would this be to water proof? or make water resistant?

I have an 80A hobbywing system that survived several snow bashes this winter, I began snow bashing the system after I rolled into a ditch and submerged the ESC, it kept going. I've read of some other people who ruined their ESC from water damage but mine has really stood up to te challenge, also the manual lables it as "dustproof and splashproof" splashing is different than submerging so don't drive it into a pool.

    1. These things dont sink well. The tires are full of air and the body fills up with air and then it floats. Then the tires fill up with water and you can burn out the motors cause they gain 10-20lbs
    2. The chlorine in pools does nasty things to the metal, plastic, and electronics on any RC
    3. They're not compleatly sumersabe, its kinda pot luck and water damage isnt covered under warrenty, usually. I have submerged mine several times by accident, and its fine, but some people drive it through one puddle and get a "poof" from the ESC and thats it.

    You could do this...

Nice, my Birthday is the 11th.

I strongly recomend RPM dual stage pistons, and for $6.50, whats the hurt. Those with 40wt oil and upgraded springs will rock I bet. My truck still squats under power a little but its not as bad as it used to be.

Thanks for the info. My Wheels wobble a lot more then they used to. It started once I installed the true track.

I assume ur running 14mm, if so, install a washer between the axle carrier and the pin that holds the hex on. THis should fix most of the issue. Make sure the washer dosnt inhibit the rotation of the wheel, if it does, its to thick. I had the same problem, its pretty common. Do the bearings that came with the tru track fit well?

TO fix the problem with the 14mm is upgrade to better hexs and new wheels. I have MAximiser 17mm hexs and they have a little wobble but much less than stock with my new Desparado wheels. The only thing is they're plastic, so im not sure on durrability. For good durable hexs, HPI 17mm hexs are really good.

Theres another brand that is racer perfect but it has illuded my seartching for a half hour and my head hurts.

I don't understand why people buy 17 mm hex adapters. Could you just buy 17mm hexs.
