I had Anacondas for Street and Stock Alias for Dirt/Offroad....
What's a good Tire for both, so I won't have to change for each surface.....
Also one that will work with stock gearing for the VXL (No Overload)

Gladiators (all terrain) good grip both onroad and offroad.
Cons - driving onroad will wear them out FAAAAAST.
I have 2.8 mashers and love them. TONS of grip on road and a soft compound for grass/dirt that makes it stick real well
the stampedes make great all around tires exept for the dirt tracks.....
I vote HPI Geolanders. They wear well onroad and do well offroad too. I've had this thought I guess I will just drop here. Everyone says "which tires have the most grip???" Well why do you even want great grip? With grip comes traction rolling, which is without a doubt less fun then sliding around a bit. At least for bashing.
I have some RoadRage tires on the rear of my Rustler, and surprisingly they are really good on a pack to a little loose dirt surface. Even though it has a low profile, the compound sticks and gives it the grip.

I haven't found anything the Talons are good for....... isn't that what comes on the Pede?
The thing with tires is, what's good on one surface is bad on another. It is really best to buy two different type tires. Something like Anacondas for street/pavement, and a "pin" type tire, Alias or others, for off road.
you're going to wear the tires out anyway, so you may as well invest in 2 sets and have the best of both worlds. Changing tires with the rims attached is a 5 minutes process. Now, swapping tires off one set of rims to another and back is lunacy.
