    Iphone charging for TQi

Ok, so dumb question i know....

The only use I have for an i-phone, is on my shiney new TQi. Is there any way I can charge the phone, using the TQi. (I have no manual for the TQI ) It'll just save the fuss of having to charge something else.

Also, there's a DC socket on the back of the dock. What's that for please?

    Thanks
    Newth

The DC socket is for charging the optional NIMH battery you can buy and the iPhone will charge on the TQI if you have no use for the iPhone get an iPod touch. No service plan to pay for

    Ooops.
I purchased an optional Nimh pack that can be placed in lieu of the AA batteries. Plus you can charge your iDevice if needed then come back in and charge the pack later that day.

I found it to be quite handy. I hate buying AA's. LOL I picked this rechargeable pack from ProMatch.

Hi guys. Thanks for the replies.
I have an used iphone in 'airplane' mode, so no service plan to pay there. Just use it over wifi.
It's the charging of handsets I never remember to do! (Including the phone lol). Now I just stick a new set of batts into the handset when needed, everythings groovy, including the phone.
I just need a guide now for the app! (& some telemetry sensors of course.)
