Motor fail???

So i bought my slash last week and ran it maybe 3 or 4 times, the motor is in and out and it sounds like a bomb went off in the motor like bearings are all over? Will traxxas do something for me? I mean i just spent 420 dollars on this piece and the motor blows already? Any suggestions. And yes it is the motor, its not spur, pinion or slipper clutch, i checked by pulling the motor out and listening to it.

give traxxas a call Monday . They will more than likely have you send it in for a new one . The tech support is awesome .

Hopefully they can take care of you. These are definitely not trucks to buy if you are low on cash.

just tell them and they will ask if you have a reciept as well . I had a ESC go out a few weeks ago and had no reciept and no questions asked they sent me a new one . Sent it on a Thursday from Iowa and they recieved it on Saturday . 5 days after I they recieved it I had one in my mail box .

Just call the toll free number and they will fix you up . Good Luck !

Keep us informed! Traxxas should take good care.of you. They are noted for their excellent customer service. If I were you, I would send the motor and esc in. That way you don't find out the other part is bad and have a longer wait. Good luck

They'll take care of you. Had mine only 3 wks and fried the motor. They told me to send it in along with a copy of the purchase receipt. No worries.
