i actually like this video.. you and gf/wife did a good job

and you did good by taking your time and working up to a real hard launch, just shows that these cars are quite powerful and take some skill to drive

i immediately started laughing when she said... " thats just stupid slow" or somethin to that effect .. LOL

anyhow... good job , looking forward to more vids of your runs

the vids will have to hold me over until i can get mine in a couple weeks

Why is it so slow off the line??

Thanks Guys. As for the speed I wanted to start off with low torque and work my way up. Even at 50 Percent torgue this thing flies off the line and becomes hard to comtrol.

Yeah after she said "Its Stupid Slow" I told her not to say it again because i knew the guys on the forum would freak-out over it because alot of people thinks its slow.

On the app, do you tune in a torque curve like on the castle link pc software? Or do you only have the dial on the tx to work with?

Well, you do have to wreck at 70 mph to be an expert...

I am an intermediate. I only have wrecked around 60 lol.

It was my first run with the car so the App wasnt set up, I was using the the mulifunction knob. I had to start out at really low torque and work my way up. Since that video i've got alot better at launching. It's a really fun machine.

well, the app on the I device, Can you custom adjust the curve? or is it just the knob?

You can do it with both. If you use the APP you can really get technical. Heres a quick video i made while adjusting the Torgue using the remote. I had one or two good take offs.

I really wish Traxxas would have made it so when you flip the toggle switch, it activates a servo to lock up a disc brake like on nitro cars.

That way you can roll into an actual water puddle, flip the line lock switch, and do your burnout. It's pretty lame to hold the rear end to do a burnout.

Thanks for Watching. It is lame that you have to hold up the car to do a burn out but its understandable. You can't have your cake and eat it to so it didn't bother me when i was deciding if i should get the car or not.
