I let my buddy do some speed runs and...

He had her topped out and POP! The head, sleve and top of the crankcase went 20 feet straight up in the air. Thats right, he blew the crank case in two. The piston, sleve and head are all damaged. No rebuilding that one lol. Man I knew it was coming. Ive had this 3.3 for almost 3 years and put almost 14 gallons through it. I just didn't expect it to look like that in the end. Its been a great run with this engine. Now on to bigger and better engines...

Yup, the picco it is. And another trusty 3.3. I'm not sure witch of my trucks will get witch engine. I"m thinking my street truck is so light it really don't need a big block. My buddy has a used picco but I haven't looked at it yet so who knows. I'd like to get that cheap so I can see how a rusty will take to the claimed 2.7 horsepower. There is a chance the .26 is just too powerful for our trucks. I also may be picking up a jato roller for my next project so money is real thin and I could need up to 3 engines for the summer. The Jato is at the bottom of the list and the rustlers are just about done except the engines. I got allot to think about, my brain hurts lol

the picco26 is a power house for sure, buddy had it on his revo and man that thing is a beast, it had alot of power to haul that revo around, i tuned it good and it was hauling picked up speed and didnt give going on tall grass or anything. you might want to consider getting it used from your friend because it might be way way too much for the rusty you might want to consider getting something smaller but bigger than 3.3, you gotta think about your tranny and drive shalfs you'll be poping them every run if you dont have the steel ones and parts are gonna be another thing that breaks, even for the basher/off road rusty not to mention like you said on the street rusty. my brain hurt too when trying to think what to do to my pede or what project to do first.

The street truck really doesn't break. Its always a smooth ride through the rpms down the smooth pavement. I want to at least try the .26 it in. I'm going to get the street truck all set to drop the big block in and try to get the used one for now. I took a closer look at the off road truck and she needs a some down time. It took a beating the past few weeks. I have servos, bearings and a few other parts to put on. I broke a shock on the off roader so I put my street shock on the front, gave the rear suspension a quick tune and put on the proline road rage tires. It ran great. I used 20/70 gearing and it picked up great, hitting about 60ish mph. But the best part of today is finding out how much I love those proline tires. I'll never use any other tire on pavement again. It was raining and my truck didn't want to slide lol

LOL Basher! Powerman, I killed another 3.3 back in the day but it didn't blow up like that. It just ran til I couldent start her anymore. Lets hope I don't get any better engine pics lol. I'm still waiting on the used .26. I'm getting impatient but I haven't had the time to go get it from my friend. My street truck is mosty ready to go but the off roader needs a little more work so the street truck will get the BB first. I got an order in today with an Ofna pipe, jato header, shock parts and some other little things like clutches, spurs and hardware. I love thow the pipe looks. Heres a pic. My on road rusty will be ready to go as soon as I get the BB, probably early next week. Can't wait...

Its made by Ofna for 1/8 scale trucks. I'm not sure if its too big for your engine to be honest. I'll give it a try on a 3.3 at some point when I get one and let you guys know. If I were to guess i'd say it would work fine with a 3.3. Its not too much bigger than the jato blue pipes.
