I just installed my new aluminum HR bulkheads and after a few minutes of driving, both the front and rear diffs were stripping. No clue why this happened, since I shimmed properly, used new rings/pinions, and took my time with the install. I even used loctite to prevent the screws from backing out. Any clue why this happened? I shimmed to where there was barely no binding, but is it possible that new ring/pinion sets need to bind some while they're breaking in?
