    Steering question

Started converting my tmaxx to emaxx and not sure what steering to use. I have the 3922a long chassis and was wondering if the 3908 steering will work

Are you modding the T Maxx chassis to run electric or are you going with a new chassis?

Maybe someone that has done this can chime in but shooting from the hip I'd say if your modding the chassis to run electric I don't see a reason to change the steering. But again, I've never done this so I may be missing something.

I remember someone else had an issue with trying to use the T Maxx steering parts on an E Maxx chassis.

I'd say to look up the parts needed for a 3905 E Maxx and go with that. You may want to consider upgrading the bell crank to a good aluminum one.

Also, although the E Maxx is set up for dual servo steering, you don't need two servos. One good strong metal geared servo will do the trick.

the steering parts are different from the T to the E Maxx. I bought an alum steering kit for the E Maxx, but it was for the T Maxx so it did not work......
Would you go flip my truck back over??

For the chassis in the pic you'll want TRA4945 and it should bolt up if your using the T-Maxx suspension.
