I am wanting to widen my 4x4 Stampede vxl and I have searched the forums for days and google for weeks before. I am Begging (lol) for a parts list I am wanting to go as wide as i can get and cost is not a problem i am also looking to do some big jumps so durablity is a must. I am wanting to jump from the roof of a three story roof down to a low landing area below our basement so some serious stuff. i am tired of looking and am eager to do it. I will definatly post pics and videos lol. and what about TSL Boggers To Proline Trenchers i see every one is running trenchers why?

Not sure a pede 4x4 can handle a 3 story jump. Maybe once. To widen, you can use wheel extenders (there is a thread on page 1 or 2) or the Proline Protrac kit. Boggers are for scaler trucks, not monster trucks. Trenchers give the best all around performance on street and off-road.

Proline pro trac kit is the common approach for widening. 3 stories is pretty high. You will probably be breaking lots doing that.

Lot of people use trenchers, because if you were to take the essence of Awesome, and package it into an RC monster truck tire, you would have a trencher! They grip everything well, they wear well. Look great. Only downside is the balooning at high speeds, but taping the tire fixes that.

you're gonna wanna use some vg racing heavy duty springs and probably the thickest shock oil you can find. seriously...like 80 wt and above. 3 stories is a tall order. i've jumped mine off of a 2 level house, but i'm not sure if that's really technically much more than a story or so. I landed onto soft grass on a decline.There's some you tube video of a slash 4x4 driving off of a massive cliff some where in the UK..here it is. nothing broke there.

BMX ramp put my pede about 15 feet in the air, and the landing wasn't pretty. Shattered a shock body and ripped out a body mount. Oh, and made one of the body pins into the most interesting shape...

You could try and install jato arms to make it wider I believe.
