    had to get a stampede

Hi guys. well i finally pulled the trigger and sold my jato to get a stampede 4x4 I've been thinking about it sense they came out and well i did and couldn't be happier. i have a few questions though. i just finished running my lipo till the low voltage kicked on so i stopped. so now can i just leave it till i wanna charge it again and drive it? or should i put a little bit of a charge back in it since its at low voltage?

Storage mode. I left one of mine empty after a run and 1 of the cells went dead . . . It charged back up but the charger didn't read it as a 3s

I always balanced mine before i charged them or put a storage charge on them.
Thats i what i did.Not saying it is the right thing but i felt better if i balanced them before i did anything with them once they were run down and i never had any problems with my lipos (SPC.) My 2 cents worth

Ok my charger has a storage mode setting so that sounds like a good plan. i don't need to discharge it first do i or should i? that was the first charge and run I've done with it

If it's higher or lower the charger will take care of it for you. I believe that it is supposed to be around 3.8v per cell.

Congrats on the purchase of the 4x4 pede, they are tough rigs.Watch out for heat issues and ripping rear driveshafts apart if you get a 3s.I would recommend using a 2s,lot less strain on parts.

Thanks. well i already bought a 3s because i get a decent price on it when i was there. yeah i heard the vxls have alt of heat on 3s so i have a temp gun and had to take a cool down break in the middle of my run. I love it so far on 3 s i got the esc fan as well next im goin to get a kings head motor mount and some kind of fan or heat sink for the motor as well
