As far as I know new Rustlers come calibrated. Are you following the procedure that is described in the manual?

if your trying to do what i think your doing, then you need to take the cover off of the receiver on your Rusty and push the link button
for a 2.4ghz radio system use this link

if thats not what your trying to do then im clueless! hope it helps you out

go down to the menu tree section of this link. try and unlocking all of your models from the transmitter then try to re-lock your rusty. if you have more than one vehicle locked to your transmitter then you will have to repeat the locking process with all of your vehicles. if that still doesnt work for you then head down to your LHS and have them help you out. most LHS help out with that stuff at no charge!!

LHS means local hobby shop. Or the store where you bought it.

Put the left knob on your transmitter in the middle and see if that works.

There are a few settings on the 2.4GHz transmitters where you can adjust the steering with. Did you take a look at that menu?

um yah i checked actually what happens is that my car moves forward and backward but it doesnt turn either side,
intresting thing here is that when i adjust the steering servo knob it turns wheel in quite erratic manner where ever the servo wants it to, not on my command

I would reset the transmitter to the stock values and if that doesnt work, you got faulty electronics somewhere. Transmitter, receiver or the servo.
